Hi Rick and Sandy, of course I needed to hear your words and I feel Sandy’s presence behind the camera. I would like to thank you for popping into my morning before I start anther day of my life. I would tell you that I’ve been feeling pretty down on my luck as of late, and there you both are showing me just what I needed to see. I’m humbled and a bit ashamed of my “perceived current rut”. Time to take a look at it a little more closely I would think. We gamble so much with our time, our bodies and really life itself so once again thank you for coming into my living room this day.
You both have given me work and income, found me a home, we’ve broke bread, gambled a few pesos, thrown a few darts and so many other good memories I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and friendship. ~I am so deeply grateful to have you both in my life.~

as you have a special place in our hearts. After I kick this thing, how about I talk Sandy into trying to track you down for once? 🙂
Well up, down, “at this moment” we are kind of stuck in place here. 5 more weeks of chemo and radiation. That puts us up to the 1st week in November. At that time I have promise Sandy we are going to be looking for some place to “retreat” to. We are currently looking at purchasing land in one of several of our dream spots, The Virgin Islands, Ecuador, British Columbia, and I am sniffing out some eastern European possiblities. Looking for a condo, or small farm, could be a fixer upper but the condo would have to be brand new. Then we would do six months here, and six months there…..lol I don’t know. Pipe Dream? Hope not. Well hope this finds you in good spirits and Carpe Diem ( Seize the Day) !
