I have to say that I work at a wonderful place.

We are a small college located on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation in Northwest Wisconsin, but despite our size, we are always proud of the large number of students that attend our school for their degrees, and we swell with pride each year when Graduation Day rolls around.

And being that we are a Wisconsin school with a team heading for the Super Bowl on February 6, there is another kind of pride that is sweeping through the halls!

Today there was a photo shoot planned in the Cultural Center to show how dedicated our staff and faculty are to their state team.  Of course, not everyone could attend, but I’d say that this is a pretty happy bunch!

However, not everyone will be cheering the Packers on Superbowl Sunday…

… in particular one of our instructors who is a Pittsburgh fan.

The poor guy got picked on last week about his choice of teams and presented with a wig to wear as a reminder of that choice.

We are a good sported group, and all of this is done with the greatest of humor intended. (Note that even the President of the college, who is the biggest instigator in all of this, is the one to the right of the sign with the gold Packer sweatshirt shaking a fist at our poor Steeler fan, but smiling!)

No matter who wins this Sunday, next week will be an interesting one at work.

And by the way, I am a Vikings fan married to a Packers fan… Sunday should be interesting at our house too.
