Timberrrrrrrrr!

May 152012

All the paperwork has been finalized and we are now the proud owners of 2 lots across from our house.

Not much to look at here.

But 4 hours later and 2 guys hyped up on caffeine, and it has possibilities.

Quite a few of the trees were used as meals for the woodpeckers, and as soon as they hit the ground they broke apart.

We always keep a few dead trees around just for them.  Keeps them away from pecking on the house.

Oh, and the forest holds a special gift!

Now this rusted old bed frame might look like junk to someone else, but to me it is beautiful.

I can already see it coming alive with beautiful climbing flowers.

There’s still a lot of work to be done, but I’m already making plans for this little space.

Let’s hope that Rick goes along with them.
