We’re Back!

My apologizes to anyone who came to the website last night and was met with, well, I’m not sure what you saw, but it definitely wasn’t my normal blog.

I had been wanting to upgrade my currently version of the software used in the making of this site for a while now, but there many tiny details that were involved than a simple upgrade.  One of which was moving it over to a different server that would give me the capabilities to do more wonderful things with it.

Around 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon Rick was ready to give it a go.  I had a feeling this wasn’t going to be a simple task, so I just went to my happy place and let things work themselves out the way they were supposed to.

I had every faith in Rick’s capabilities, and knew he wouldn’t let me down.  I even got some Prime Rib to go from our favorite restaurant down the road for supper to show my appreciation.

By the time I went to bed at 10 pm, he was still at it, but it was more of a waiting game as files were being uploaded to the new server.

I don’t know what time he finished, but I do know that he was still up way past midnight.  When I turned on my computer this morning and hit the link for my site, I beamed with pride!

Damn, he’s good!!

On the surface, you will not notice any changes.  The real difference is what is done “behind the scenes,” and believe me when I tell you it is pretty cool!

Tons of kudos to Rick for his exceptional talent and patience (and very little swearing) while getting this thing moved.  You are the best!!
